Video Proves Police Beat Trump Supporter as She Died at Capitol

Former President Donald Trump returned to the public stage Tuesday, hosting a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate following Congress’s certification of his victory in the 2024 presidential election. In true Trump fashion, the event was brimming with bold statements, including a controversial announcement to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.”

While the announcement stirred its share of reactions, the press conference took a more somber turn as Trump revisited the tragic events of January 6, 2021. “I heard there was a second person who died on January 6,” Trump told the assembled media, alluding to the violent day at the Capitol. The comment, however, understated the true scope of the tragedy.

In reality, four lives were lost during the Capitol protests, with three directly linked to police actions. Ashli Babbitt, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was shot and killed by Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd. Kevin Greeson tragically suffered a heart attack. Benjamin Phillips lost his life after Capitol Police deployed exploding cylinders into the crowd, leaving him unconscious and unreachable by those who sought to help him. Rosanne Boyland faced one of the most harrowing fates: pushed to the ground, gassed, and brutally beaten with a stick by Officer Lila Morris as she lay defenseless on the Capitol steps.

Many of the men that helped Rosanne are in pre-trial detention and being held as political prisoners, including Sheriff Ronald McAbee (in red hat).
