The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has reached a perilous new stage, with reports suggesting that Ukraine has executed a missile strike inside Russian territory. The development marks a significant escalation and raises concerns about possible nuclear retaliation from Moscow.
The strike reportedly targeted a military facility in the Bryansk region, located approximately 71 miles from the Ukrainian border. According to RBC Ukraine, Ukrainian forces launched six ATACMS missiles, recently supplied by the United States, to destroy an ammunition depot in the city of Karachev. Ukrainian officials have confirmed the attack on the warehouse but refrained from providing details on the specific missiles used, citing classified information.
