These consequences followed the bombshell memoir by Virginia Giuffre titled “Nobody’s Girl” which detailed her account of being abused by Andrew at age seventeen and even described an “orgy” involving “approximately eight other young girls” who “appeared to be under the age of 18 and didn’t really speak English.”
Andrew quietly settled Giuffre’s lawsuit in 2022 for a massive payout while admitting nothing.
Giuffre later died by suicide in April 2025 at forty one, placing even more scrutiny on the people who wronged her.
Congress Wants Answers and Andrew is Hiding
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have been digging into the Epstein files. They issued formal requests demanding that Andrew testify about his relationship with the convicted predator.
Representatives Robert Garcia and Suhas Subramanyam released a fiery statement after Andrew ignored every request.
“Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s silence in the face of the Oversight Democrat’s demand for testimony speaks volumes,” they said. “The documents we’ve reviewed, along with public records and Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s testimony, raise serious questions he must answer, yet he continues to hide.”
The lawmakers added that “We will get justice for the survivors.”
Documents already released show Andrew on Epstein’s infamous private jet and link him to questionable payments made to “masseuses” on his behalf. Washington is signaling that the former prince was not just some casual acquaintance but far deeper in Epstein’s orbit than he ever admitted.
The UK Prime Minister Delivers a Stunning Signal
While traveling to a G 20 summit in Johannesburg, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer was asked if his government would shield Andrew from Congress.
His answer felt like a political earthquake.
“I don’t comment on his particular case,” Starmer said. “But as a general principle I’ve held for a very long time is that anybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kind of cases should give that evidence to those that need it.”
In other words, the era of official British protection appears to be over. Andrew is in this alone now.
For decades, the establishment shielded him behind royal protocol and political courtesy. Starmer just shattered that illusion.
The Evidence Piling Up Could Ruin Him
Newly surfaced emails show Andrew expressing “solidarity” with Epstein after the disgraced financier’s 2008 conviction. This directly contradicts his public claim that he cut Epstein off in 2010.
British media also reported that Andrew asked one of his taxpayer funded security officers to locate dirt on Virginia Giuffre by collecting her personal records including her Social Security number. The Metropolitan Police have now launched an investigation into whether Andrew abused his position for personal retaliation.
If Andrew lied under oath during his 2022 settlement, he could face perjury charges in the United States. His legal deal with Giuffre was based on truthful testimony. These email revelations could blow that agreement apart.
Andrew Has Nothing Left to Hide Behind
Andrew is now living in a private residence on the Sandringham estate. His home, his security, his living arrangements, all of it is funded completely by King Charles because Andrew no longer has access to Crown Estate benefits.
His royal protection is gone. His official titles are gone. His mansion is gone.
And with the UK Prime Minister telling the world that “anybody who has got relevant information” should cooperate, Andrew has lost the only institutional shield he had left.
