The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is taking heat after a disturbing graduation moment went viral—showing faculty members nodding along as a student launched into a profanity-filled attack on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and former President Donald Trump’s administration.
The speech, delivered by Chinese-American student Jamie Han during a commencement ceremony, has ignited a wave of outrage online. While the clip was first posted to Instagram back in June by Han herself, it’s only recently exploded across social media, drawing harsh criticism from Americans who see it as another example of left-wing politics poisoning higher education.
Han began her remarks like most graduates—thanking classmates, offering lighthearted reflections, and delivering the usual “dream big” message. But as the speech reached its final minutes, the tone took a sharp and aggressive turn.
Her demeanor shifted, and so did her language. Han unleashed a verbal assault on ICE agents, accusing them of being on a “psychotic power trip” and “terrorizing” families. She told them to “go touch grass” and “find something less embarrassing and pathetic to do” than enforcing U.S. immigration law.
