Former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard took a blowtorch to Barack Obama Tuesday evening after the former president’s office fired off a defensive response to President Trump’s recent remarks calling Obama the “ringleader” of the Russia collusion hoax.
Trump’s explosive comments came during an Oval Office press event, where he didn’t mince words when pointing the finger directly at Obama and several top players in the now-discredited Russia narrative.
“Barack Hussein Obama is the ringleader. Hillary Clinton was right there with him and so was Sleepy Joe Biden… and so were the rest of them. Comey, Clapper, the whole group,” Trump said.
“This was treason… they tried to steal the election…”

Trump’s claims stem from a declassified presidential intelligence briefing from December 2016, which strongly suggests Obama was well aware that the Russia collusion story lacked credibility from the start. According to the document, not only was Obama informed it was a fabrication, but he was also actively involved in pushing the false narrative through partisan intelligence efforts.
