President Donald Trump wasted no time shutting down CNN’s latest smear attempt, abruptly ending a phone call with reporter Andrew Kaczynski after being questioned about old photos showing Jeffrey Epstein at his 1993 wedding to Marla Maples.
The liberal network’s so-called “exclusive” story, aired on OutFront with Erin Burnett, attempted to paint a sinister narrative using images that have been publicly accessible for years. The photos in question show Epstein attending Trump’s wedding at the Plaza Hotel and later chatting with Trump and his children at a Harley-Davidson Café event in the same year.
Erin Burnett breathlessly hyped the footage as part of a “never before seen” archive investigation. But even CNN was forced to admit that the photos weren’t exactly hidden. Kaczynski, the reporter behind the piece, conceded, “They’re available on Google Images and Shutterstock,” adding that they supposedly carry renewed relevance because they “have not been widely reported and predate any of Epstein’s known legal issues.”
That didn’t stop CNN from running with the piece like it was Watergate. Before airing the segment, Kaczynski said he called Trump for comment. The response? Pure Trump: decisive and unapologetic.
