A Senator’s Hidden Agenda
Carlson revealed that during key discussions about national security appointments, a certain senator on the Intelligence Committee stepped in to block one nominee. The reason? That individual was a strong advocate for declassifying the JFK files.
“In January, there was a scramble over who’s gonna get what jobs in the new administration,” Carlson explained. “At one point there was someone who was being discussed for a job in the intel world, and a member of the SSCI . . . went to the people making the decision and said, ‘You cannot hire this person because this person will be certain to push for the release of the JFK files.’”
According to Carlson, this senator was deliberately interfering with the hiring process to ensure the truth about JFK’s assassination remained buried. Six weeks ago, Carlson admitted he wouldn’t have believed such a claim, but now he’s convinced.
“You have to ask yourself, ‘What is that?’” Carlson continued. “If you’re telling me that six weeks ago, a member of the United States Senate was trying to keep someone out of a job in order to keep these files secret, that is to protect the CIA, I don’t believe that for a second.”
Tucker Names the Senator
Cuomo pressed Carlson to reveal the name of the senator responsible. Without hesitation, Carlson delivered the answer.
“Tom Cotton of Arkansas did that,” Carlson declared.
The revelation sent shockwaves through political circles, raising serious questions about why a sitting U.S. senator would go to such lengths to prevent the release of historic government files.
Cotton Denies Allegations
After Carlson’s comments, Fox News’ Bret Baier confronted Senator Cotton directly, asking him to respond to the accusations. Cotton outright denied the claim.
“It’s false. Completely false. I have no problem releasing the JFK files. Tucker could have called or texted me. He has texted me multiple times in recent weeks. Had he asked me, I would have told him that,” Cotton stated.
Cotton further asserted that he had never spoken to Trump or his administration about blocking anyone from a position over the JFK files.
“I’ve never spoken to President Trump or any of his associates or administration officials about the JFK files. I’ve never objected to someone taking office because of their position on the JFK files. I have to say, I have complete faith in Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, John Ratcliffe, and Tulsi Gabbard to carry out President Trump’s directive on the JFK files,” he added.

The Deep State at Work?
Despite Cotton’s denials, many Trump supporters remain skeptical. The pattern of slow-walking transparency is becoming too obvious to ignore.
The JFK files, much like the Epstein files, remain under lock and key—fueling speculation that the government is hiding something massive. If the assassination was simply the act of a lone gunman, why keep so many details classified for decades?
One thing is certain: Americans are growing increasingly frustrated with the bureaucratic roadblocks to truth. And thanks to Tucker Carlson, the public now knows exactly who’s standing in the way.
