Texas Democrat Claims Illegal Entry Isn’t a Crime
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), known for her fiery rhetoric, took things a step too far during an appearance on MSNBC, where she brazenly claimed that crossing the border illegally is not a crime.

“What they’re not telling the American people is that it is a civil violation,” Crockett declared. “It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally. It’s not. It’s not criminal. It’s not a crime. It’s not a crime.”
Rather than acknowledge existing immigration laws, Crockett accused Republicans of manipulating the public. She even suggested that GOP lawmakers preferred to focus on immigration enforcement rather than tackling violent crime.
