The New York Times stated that numerous sources have verified that President Trump has made a solid decision to skip the forthcoming debate in Milwaukee.

He left some open for interpretation in a post on his Truth Social. “Many people are asking whether or not I will be doing the DEBATES? ALL AMERICANS have been clamoring for a President of extremely High Intelligence,” Trump said.
“As everyone is aware, my Poll numbers, over a “wonderful” field of Republican candidates, are extraordinary. In fact, I am leading the runner up, whoever that may now be, by more than 50 Points. Reagan didn’t do it, and neither did others. People know my Record, one of the BEST EVER, so why would I Debate? I’M YOUR MAN.”
President Trump asked the crowd at a rally in August if they would be interested in seeing him participate in the upcoming RNC debates. The audience responded in a number of ways.
“They’re all saying is he going to go into the debate?… I don’t know. If you’re leading by 50 and 60 and 70 points do you do that or not?”

Both Suzanne Scott, the network’s CEO, and Jay Wallace, the network’s president, were present. Fox set up this gathering to entice Trump to take part in the first GOP debate on August 23 in Milwaukee.
