Her late husband, NFL star Frank Gifford, had been contacted by the FBI with a dire warning.
“They said, ‘Mr. Gifford, we have a problem. There’s this guy. This is a very, very bad human being. . . And he’s coming to get your wife,’” Gifford recalled.
