According to those close to the president, Donald Trump plans to attend the hearing on Thursday to learn if Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis tainted her case against him by allegedly having a sexual involvement with a subordinate.
According to The Washington Post, Trump’s possible visit would fall during a preliminary hearing in New York, where he is accused of fabricating financial documents in order to stifle an adult film star. Trump has regularly made the voluntary decision to appear in court, drawing attention from the media and drawing attention to legal disputes that he views as a “witch hunt” against him.

The hearing on Thursday will look at allegations made by Michael Roman, a co-defendant of Trump, that Fani Willis, the DA for Fulton County, had an improper romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she recruited for the case. According to reports, Wade received at least $728,000 for his work. These accusations were made by Roman, a former Trump campaign staff member who is being prosecuted for racketeering in connection with Georgia’s 2020 election.

Whistleblowers are “eager” to testify, though, that Willis and Wade were directly involved months before she filed accusations against Trump, according to what they told the Georgia legislature.
