Trump’s Presence Sends Willis Hearing into Frenzy!

A representative for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office told the Washington Post that they were unaware of the former president’s plans to arrive on Thursday. This raised questions about the department’s ability to handle security and logistics for a Trump campaign event.

Prior to this, Fulton County Superior Judge Scott McAfee dismissed Willis’s objections in the case, ruling that the evidentiary hearing will proceed due to the possibility of a genuine conflict of interest that would prohibit Willis from pursuing the lawsuit against Trump. Wade’s eligibility to join her legal team, he says, will not be discussed, claiming the DA’s office has the authority to recruit anybody with “a heartbeat and a bar card.”

“I think it’s clear that disqualification can occur if evidence is produced demonstrating an actual conflict or the appearance of one,” McAfee said, noting that Willis’ admission of a relationship is already on record.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

House Republicans are looking into claims that Fani Willis, in her Trump lawsuit, misappropriated funds meant for adolescent gang diversion programs. The investigation is being led by Oversight Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH). The investigation also looks at any possible unlawful coordination between Willis and Jack Smith from the Biden Justice Department. Smith has charged Trump with federal election involvement.
