President Donald Trump is setting the stage for an energy revolution, and he just lit the first match in Alaska. While the Biden administration spent four years strangling domestic production, Trump’s top energy leaders are charging full steam ahead with a new vision that will supercharge Alaska’s economy—and leave Democrats reeling.

In early June, a trio of Trump’s top energy chiefs—EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright—touched down on Alaska’s North Slope. They weren’t there for a photo op. They came with a mission: to unlock the energy wealth buried beneath Alaskan soil and restore American energy dominance.
Their destination? The historic Prudhoe Bay oil field, once the lifeblood of U.S. energy independence, now a shell of its former self after years of federal interference and green extremism.
Chris Wright didn’t mince words about the Trump team’s goal.
“You have the big two right here,” Wright explained. “Let’s double oil production, build the big, beautiful twin, and we will help energize the world and we will strengthen our country and strengthen our families.”
