Trenga comes in response to a lawsuit filed by a group of anonymous intelligence officers who had been reassigned from their roles in controversial Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs. These individuals, now seeking legal protection, have targeted the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA, attempting to preserve their foothold in key government agencies.
