“Mr. Kise, can you control your client? This is not a political rally … Maybe you should have a talk with him right now,” Rubin cited Engoron’s statement.
Kise countered that it would be preferable to allow the “former and future chief executive of the United States” answer.
Hugo Lowell, a correspondent for the Guardian, has an exciting social media update!
“I beseech you to control him if you can. If you can’t, I will. I will excuse him and draw every negative inference that I can,” Says Engoron, citing Lowell.
In an open court proceeding, Trump’s attorney Alina Habba questioned the state prosecutor, arguing that more insightful inquiries would yield more insightful conclusions.
It was Engoron who forced her to sit down.
“Very, very unfair trial, and I hope the public is watching,” Lowell alleged that Trump said at the time.

As he testifies, Trump calls Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James a “political hack” who is using the trial for her own benefit. The New York Post is cited.
He mentioned Engoron at one point, stating, Everybody’s watching this case. He called me a fraud and he didn’t know anything about me. The fraud is on the court and not on me.”
Habba voiced her outrage at the judge’s behavior.
“I was told to sit down today. I was yelled at and I’ve had a judge, who is unhinged, slamming a table. Let me be very clear: I don’t tolerate that in my life. I’m not going to tolerate it here,” she said.
“And the numbers don’t lie when President Trump runs for office in 2024,” According to the Post, Habba stated. “Those numbers are loud and clear.”
“This country is falling apart. And if we don’t stop corruption, in courtrooms where attorneys are gagged, where attorneys are not allowed to say what they need to say to protect their client’s interest. It doesn’t matter what your politics are. Everyone in this country has a right to put up a defense,” she said.
Trump stated the trial before he entered the courthouse on Monday. “is really election interference. This trial is ridiculous,” according to the Post.
“It’s political warfare, as you would call it, or political lawfare,” he said. “I got a lot of names for it.”
