President Donald Trump is signaling that Republicans should expect a major financial and political push heading into the November midterm elections, saying he plans to deploy hundreds of millions of dollars from his super PAC to help GOP candidates across the country.
Speaking with reporters in the Oval Office Friday, Trump said MAGA Inc. has substantial resources available and indicated that he expects to put roughly $400 million to $500 million toward the upcoming elections.
“I think I have like a close to a billion dollars in the super PAC and I’m allocating probably four or five hundred million dollars,” Trump said. “We’re going to spend a lot of money because we don’t want to lose our country.”
