For four years, the Biden administration has rolled out the welcome mat for foreign corporations. Taxpayer incentives flowed freely while almost no one in Washington bothered to check who was actually benefiting.
That illusion came crashing down last week when a massive ICE operation blew the lid off one of Biden’s prized “economic wins,” revealing a scandal that has conservatives demanding answers.
Federal agents swarmed a Hyundai electric vehicle battery construction site near Savannah, Georgia, in a raid that sent shockwaves across both the U.S. and South Korea. Nearly 500 workers were detained on suspicion of being in the country illegally.
This is the same facility President Biden touted in 2022 as proof his green energy agenda was delivering American jobs. Instead, the raid revealed that more than 300 workers were South Korean nationals working illegally on a project funded by U.S. taxpayers.
