Trump Team BETRAYED? Six Agents Suspended!

But Quinn’s acknowledgment that, “Secret Service is totally accountable for Butler,” signals a much deeper issue. He added, “Butler was an operational failure and we are focused today on ensuring that it never happens again.”

Trump Survivor Coin

An operational failure, indeed. On that tragic day in July, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed onto a nearby rooftop—completely undetected—and opened fire on the former President. His bullet narrowly missed its mark, grazing Trump’s ear. One innocent rallygoer was killed instantly after being shot in the head. Two others were wounded, with one in critical condition.

Crooks was ultimately shot and killed by a Secret Service sniper—but only after getting off eight shots from an elevated position that should have been cleared and secured hours earlier.

The failures didn’t stop there. Reports have revealed that Crooks used a drone to surveil the rally grounds twice before the attack. At approximately 3:50 to 4:05 p.m., while the Secret Service was reportedly dealing with “connectivity issues,” Crooks flew his drone over the rally area unchallenged.

How did this massive breakdown in communication happen?

According to The Washington Post, Secret Service officials never instructed local police to secure the rooftop that Crooks used to carry out the assassination attempt. Even worse—law enforcement on the ground had set aside radios for the Secret Service to ensure coordination and safety. Those radios were never picked up.

The result? Total chaos.

Bodycam footage from a Butler Township police officer paints a chilling picture of what happened behind the scenes. In the footage, the visibly shaken officer can be heard unleashing his fury after his rooftop warning went completely unheeded due to communication failures.

“Before you motherfckers came up here, I popped my head up there like an idiot by myself, dude,”* the officer yelled. “Then he turned around and I fcking dropped, and I started fcking, I was calling out, ‘Bro, fcking on top of the roof.’ Fcking, we’re not on the same frequency?”

This wasn’t a minor oversight. This was a multi-layered collapse in what should have been a fortress of protection for the GOP frontrunner.

Questions remain: How was Crooks able to position himself undetected for so long? Why did the Secret Service ignore critical coordination tools? Who is really being held accountable—and who’s being protected?

As the investigation unfolds, Americans deserve more than vague promises of reform. With the life of a former President nearly lost, and a civilian fatally struck, this cannot be brushed off as “just another mistake.”

The Butler failure wasn’t a fluke. It was a clear signal that our top security agency wasn’t ready for the threat—and people paid the price.

Now, the question is: Will anyone truly be held responsible?
