In another ruling, U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer barred DOGE from accessing Treasury Department data, prompting Trump’s outrage.

Engelmayer’s injunction cited risks to data security, blocking DOGE from accessing or retaining Treasury records.
GOP Congressman Moves to Impeach Federal Judge
Arizona Representative Eli Crane responded swiftly, announcing impeachment articles against Judge Engelmayer on X.
“[The judge is] attempting to stop White House employees from accessing the very systems they oversee,” Crane stated.

Engelmayer defended his decision, warning that DOGE’s abrupt access could endanger personal financial data and compromise Treasury systems.
