Trump & Musk Crush Johnson’s Spending Bill Plan!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Musk Takes to Twitter

Elon Musk took to Twitter on Wednesday to lambast the spending bill in a series of pointed tweets. Musk, known for his candid opinions, joined a growing chorus of conservatives expressing discontent with the bill’s provisions. His tweets called attention to what he views as a lack of transparency and fiscal responsibility in the resolution.

Trump Rejects the Resolution

Adding his voice to the opposition, President Trump issued a fiery statement rejecting the CR and condemning the direction congressional Republicans are heading.

“The most foolish and inept thing ever done by Congressional Republicans was allowing our country to hit the debt ceiling in 2025,” Trump declared. He urged Republicans to rethink their strategy, warning against handing Democrats more leverage on the debt ceiling debate.

Trump didn’t hold back in his criticism of specific aspects of the bill. “This bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee—which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid security failures that happened that day,” he stated. He also slammed provisions for congressional pay raises and “sweetheart deals” for government censors, suggesting they reflect misplaced priorities while Americans are facing economic hardship.

A Call for Smarter Negotiations

In his statement, Trump called on Republicans to adopt a tougher stance against Democrats. “Republicans must GET SMART and TOUGH. If Democrats threaten to shut down the government unless we give them everything they want, then CALL THEIR BLUFF,” he said.

He emphasized that Republicans should prioritize farmers, disaster relief, and preparing for 2025, but only through a temporary funding bill that excludes “Democrat giveaways.”

Trump further argued that if a debt ceiling increase is inevitable, it should occur under the Biden administration, rather than during a future Republican presidency. “Let’s have this debate now. And we should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want,” he insisted.

Frustration Mounts

Trump’s fiery conclusion encapsulated his frustrations with the current state of leadership. “THIS CHAOS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING IF WE HAD A REAL PRESIDENT. WE WILL IN 32 DAYS!” he declared, hinting at his determination to restore order and leadership in the country.

The Path Forward

The mounting opposition from figures like Trump and Musk underscores the growing divisions within the Republican Party. As the deadline for a government shutdown looms, Johnson faces an uphill battle to rally support for his resolution. For conservatives, the stakes are high, and the demands for fiscal responsibility and transparency are louder than ever.

The clock is ticking, and the coming days will reveal whether Speaker Johnson can navigate the storm—or if his resolution will be left in tatters by the very party he’s striving to lead.
