Trump Made 1 Call to Hegseth – Now the Left Is PANICKING

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Goldberg, predictably, tried to spin the story into a full-blown crisis, painting Hegseth as recklessly leaking classified intel. But it didn’t stick. Even after the media ran wild with it, the Trump administration stood its ground — and Hegseth kept his post.

Not willing to let it go, The New York Times gave it another shot. This time, they claimed Hegseth had discussed strike details in a Signal group that included his wife, his brother, and his lawyer — the latter two of whom work in the Pentagon themselves.

Once again, there was no bombshell revelation. Just recycled claims, inflated to look like a scandal. No classified documents were leaked, no laws broken — but the media smelled blood in the water and ran with it.

NPR then jumped into the frenzy with a story that relied entirely on — you guessed it — an unnamed source. They claimed the White House was “beginning the process” of replacing Hegseth as Secretary of Defense.

“The White House has begun the process of looking for a new leader at the Pentagon to replace Pete Hegseth, according to a U.S. official who was not authorized to speak publicly,” NPR reported.

As always, no names. No documents. Just whispers in the shadows.

Speaking at the White House Easter Egg Roll, Hegseth didn’t hold back. He called out the media’s coordinated smear campaign and rejected the narrative entirely.

“This is what the media does, they take anonymous sources from disgruntled former employees, and then they try to slash and burn people, ruin their reputation. It’s not going to work with me,” Hegseth said defiantly.

He’s been under fire before — and every time, he’s stood strong. This time is no different.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt quickly shut the rumors down, calling NPR’s story “total FAKE NEWS.”

Just Released: Trump White House Collector’s Bobblehead!

“This @NPR story is total FAKE NEWS based on one anonymous source who clearly has no idea what they are talking about,” she posted on social media. “As the President said this morning, he stands strongly behind @SecDef.”

That wasn’t just spin — President Trump himself made his position crystal clear.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump personally called Hegseth after the story broke to express his continued confidence in him.

“Trump and Hegseth chatted on the phone Sunday after news reports detailed how Hegseth used his personal phone to place sensitive military information into a new Signal chat,” the report stated. “The conversation was positive, officials said, noting that Trump sees no reason to remove Hegseth after only three months in the job.”

Then Trump doubled down for the cameras.

“He’s doing a great job — ask the Houthis how he’s doing,” the President told reporters.

Hegseth has been one of the few leaders in Washington pushing back against escalating tensions with Iran. He advised Trump to avoid a full-blown war and instead pursue tough diplomacy to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program — a move the war-hungry bureaucrats in D.C. couldn’t stand.

They want regime change. They want bombs. And they’re furious that Hegseth is in their way.

But they’ve got a problem: Pete Hegseth isn’t backing down. And neither is Donald Trump.

As the Swamp gears up for another round of attacks, one thing is clear — the America First team isn’t going anywhere.
