President Donald Trump isn’t holding back anymore. On Wednesday evening, he officially announced what many Americans have been demanding for years: Antifa is now designated as a “major terrorist organization.”
Taking to Truth Social, Trump made it clear that this radical leftist group will no longer be allowed to spread chaos unchecked.
“I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote.
This announcement didn’t come out of nowhere. Earlier in the week, President Trump told reporters he was “100%” ready to classify Antifa as a domestic terror group following the horrific assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk.
