In a move shaking up late-night TV, ABC’s broadcast partner Nexstar has completely pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! from all 32 of its stations after the host spread a false story about the tragic murder of conservative leader Charlie Kirk.
The decision came swiftly after Kimmel told his audience the killer was a “MAGA conservative” — a claim that turned out to be flat-out wrong. Disney also confirmed it was cutting ties with Kimmel’s show for now.
Fox News reported: “Disney is pulling ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ indefinitely,” the company confirmed to Fox News Digital.
Nexstar Media Group released a statement announcing the removal of the show from its ABC affiliates, citing Kimmel’s remarks about Charlie Kirk’s death as unacceptable and deeply offensive.
