The so-called “green energy revolution” has been sold to Americans as the future of cheap, clean, and limitless power. Politicians promised it would slash utility bills, deliver cleaner air, and bring in thousands of new jobs. But reality has turned out very different, and now Donald Trump is putting a spotlight on one of the biggest energy scams in the nation.
President Trump has never been shy when it comes to exposing government waste. On Tuesday morning, he took to Truth Social and unloaded on New Jersey’s failed wind projects in his trademark all-caps style.
“STUPID AND UGLY WINDMILLS ARE KILLING NEW JERSEY,” Trump declared. “Energy prices up 28% this year, and not enough electricity to take care of state. STOP THE WINDMILLS!”
His frustration is backed up by what New Jersey residents are actually living through. Instead of cheaper energy, families are watching their electric bills skyrocket while struggling with rolling shortages. A 28% hike in one year is devastating to middle-class households—and it directly undercuts everything green energy advocates promised.
