President Trump wasn’t in the mood for media games on Monday — and he made it known loud and clear.
While officially signing a major executive order to slash drug prices for Americans, Trump delivered a fiery smackdown to an ABC News reporter who tried to hijack the moment with a question about a luxury Boeing 747 from Qatar.
Over the weekend, Trump announced plans to drive down prescription drug prices by a staggering 30% to 80%, tackling Big Pharma’s sky-high costs head-on. On Monday, he made good on that promise, signing an executive order to bring the prices the U.S. government pays for medications more in line with what other countries pay.
But instead of focusing on this major win for American families, the liberal media, true to form, tried to manufacture a scandal.
