In the Roosevelt Room, as Trump prepared to sign the order, an ABC News reporter shifted gears away from healthcare and zeroed in on a completely unrelated issue — a plane gifted to the U.S. by Qatar’s royal family.
“What do you say to people who view that luxury jet as a personal gift to you? Why not leave it behind?” the reporter asked.
Trump wasted no time calling out the hit job attempt.
“You’re ABC Fake News right? Because only ABC – well, a few of you would… You should be embarrassed asking that question,” Trump fired back. “They’re giving us a free jet. I could say no, no, no, don’t give us.. I want to pay you $1 billion or $400 million or whatever it is or I could say thank you very much.”
Instead of backing off after getting exposed, the reporter kept pressing, trying to frame the story as Trump personally benefiting from the plane.
Trump didn’t let it slide.
“It’s not a gift to me. It’s a gift to the Department of Defense and you should know better because you’ve been embarrassed enough and so has your network. Your network is a disaster. ABC is a disaster,” Trump said, hammering ABC for their non-stop misinformation campaigns.
He wasn’t finished there.
“I think it’s a great gesture from Qatar. Appreciate it very much. I would never be one to turn down that kind of an offer. I mean, I could be a stupid person and say, No, we don’t want a free, very expensive airplane. But it was, I thought it was a great gesture,” Trump added, making it clear he viewed the move as a diplomatic win for America, not a personal benefit.

Once again, instead of highlighting a massive policy achievement that will directly help millions of Americans afford life-saving medications, the mainstream media tried to distract with cheap, misleading narratives.
But President Trump wasn’t having any of it. He turned their smear attempt into yet another reminder of why he remains a powerful voice against the entrenched media establishment.
While Americans struggle with soaring healthcare costs, Trump focused on real solutions. Meanwhile, ABC News focused on gossip and distortions — and got publicly humiliated for it.
In the end, it was another day where the American people could clearly see the difference between a President fighting for them — and a press corps desperate to tear him down.
