Former President Trump wasted no time in voicing his disagreement with Biden’s position. In a video shared on Fox News, Trump said, “I mean, that’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard. That’s the biggest risk we have. The biggest risk we have is nuclear.”
Trump, known for his hawkish stance on Iran during his presidency, further emphasized the danger of allowing Iran to continue its nuclear program unchecked. “I would tell you that that’s not the right answer. That was the craziest answer because, you know what? Soon, they’re going to have nuclear weapons. And then you’re going to have problems,” he added.
The former president’s criticism extended to the broader foreign policy approach of the current administration. He claimed that the U.S. is being “run by fools,” and pointed to Biden’s handling of international crises as evidence of weak leadership.
In a rally held in Saginaw, Michigan, Trump expressed further concerns about the state of global affairs under the Biden administration. Referring to the potential for Vice President Kamala Harris to win the 2024 election, Trump warned of catastrophic consequences. “I’ve been talking about World War III for a long time, and I don’t want to make predictions because the predictions always come true,” he said. “But they are very close to global catastrophe.”
He continued, “We have a nonexistent president and a nonexistent vice president who should be in charge. But nobody knows what’s going on. She was at a fundraiser in San Francisco.”
Trump’s remarks align with his ongoing critique of Biden’s leadership, particularly in foreign policy. His comments come at a time when tensions between the U.S., Israel, and Iran are at a dangerous high, and concerns about a potential global conflict are growing.
While Biden calls for restraint, Iran has taken a more aggressive stance. On Friday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised Tehran’s missile attack on Israel, as well as the October 7, 2023, massacre of Israelis by Hamas. “The move taken by our armed forces was the least punishment in the face of the crimes of the Zionist regime,” Khamenei said, according to the U.K. Telegraph.
The Ayatollah’s inflammatory rhetoric only heightened concerns about Iran’s role in escalating violence in the region. He referred to the Hamas attacks as “legitimate,” calling them “logical and legal” acts of self-defense against what he perceives as an oppressive regime.

Khamenei didn’t hold back in his verbal assault on Israel, labeling the country a “vampire” nation and predicting its downfall. The Iranian leader also took aim at the United States, calling it a “rabid dog,” further stoking anti-American sentiment in the region.
Trump’s harsh criticism of Biden’s foreign policy decisions underscores the growing fears that Iran’s nuclear ambitions, combined with its military aggression, could lead to a larger, more devastating conflict in the Middle East. Trump has long advocated for a tougher stance on Iran, warning that without decisive action, the world may soon face a nuclear threat from the Islamic Republic.
With tensions boiling over and global leaders divided on how to proceed, the question remains: how will Israel respond, and what role will the U.S. play in navigating this increasingly volatile situation? Only time will tell, but for now, the world watches closely as the conflict between Israel and Iran inches closer to a potential tipping point.
