On August 10, 37-year-old Raquel Lorena Sarabia Barajas and her fiancé Marco Antonio Baez Del Angel were driving through Nashville when an illegal alien made a reckless choice that would change everything forever.
The driver, identified as Julio Cesar Herrera Gonzales, a Honduran national, was behind the wheel of a Maserati while drunk. Instead of pulling over, he swerved directly into oncoming traffic on Bell Road.
The crash was catastrophic. Raquel was killed instantly. Marco was rushed to the hospital, left clinging to life in critical condition. In just one moment, an innocent couple’s future was stolen—all because our government refused to enforce immigration law.
