A heated exchange erupted online between a key Trump administration official and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy defended Elon Musk’s efforts to expose wasteful government spending tied to USAID.
The clash started when Clinton took a swipe at Duffy, criticizing his decision to involve Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in modernizing aviation systems. The move came in response to two fatal plane crashes that occurred during Duffy’s tenure.

Clinton, however, dismissed the initiative, claiming that under Duffy’s leadership, the Transportation Department had “deteriorated.” She conveniently ignored the numerous transportation disasters that plagued Pete Buttigieg’s four-year tenure, including rail derailments and aviation mishaps.
