Following Tuesday’s election results, Hope Walz, daughter of Minnesota’s Democratic Governor Tim Walz, had a lot to say – and little of it was peaceful. Despite claiming to be “on the side of love,” Hope took to social media to vent frustrations, particularly targeting former President Donald Trump and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance. Her remarks left many questioning how her version of “love and progress” aligns with her openly critical comments.
Hope Walz, a social worker and ski instructor, and daughter of Tim and Gwen Walz, might share her parents’ progressive views, but her reaction to recent political events seemed particularly charged. She went from praising Vice President Kamala Harris to bemoaning the state of the country and lashing out at prominent Republicans – all while insisting she was speaking from a place of “love.”

In an initial post on social media, Hope, clearly distressed about Tuesday’s election outcomes, shared her opinions with a notable bitterness. She started by explaining her respect for Kamala Harris, remarking, “This country does not deserve Kamala Harris. That woman should go live her best life wherever she wants, doing whatever she wants, because we don’t deserve her at this point.” Hope described her frustration, focusing on what she feels is a lack of recognition for Harris’s work and the contribution of Black women to the Democratic Party’s victories.

I totally agree with her regarding her statement “This country does not deserve her.” We deserve a REAL LEADER who cares about the CITIZENS and listens and responds to their concerns. We have that with President Trump. Hopefully he will be able to reverse the damage done in the past four years, and restore some level of sanity to our government agencies.
