A fiery confrontation on the Senate floor Tuesday afternoon quickly turned into a humiliating moment for Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) after Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) cornered him with one question he couldn’t — or wouldn’t — answer.
The clash unfolded during a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee hearing titled “The Supposedly Least Dangerous Branch: District Judges v. Trump.” Cruz, who chaired the session, used his time to call out the glaring double standards of Democrats when it comes to threats made against federal judges, particularly when those threats target conservatives.
Cruz didn’t pull any punches. He slammed the Biden administration and congressional Democrats for remaining silent while radical activists showed up at the homes of conservative Supreme Court Justices, attempting to intimidate them ahead of crucial rulings.
