According to a recent report from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), households headed by undocumented immigrants who have children born in the US are more reliant on welfare services than households headed by people who were born in the US.
A report published on December 19, 2023 states that 59.4% of households headed by undocumented immigrants participate in one or more welfare programs. Comparatively, only 39% of American households headed by citizens of the United States make use of these services.

The report noted that a significant portion of illegal aliens have children born in the United States who are eligible for all welfare programs from birth, and that these factors, along with their generally lower education levels and ensuing low incomes, account for the high rates of welfare usage among this population. “One or more children born in the United States are present in over half of all illegal immigrant households.”
“Anchor babies,” or children born to illegal aliens in the United States, automatically receive birthright citizenship, even though the US Supreme Court hasn’t ruled on the issue. Most welfare programs are inaccessible to undocumented immigrants. On the other hand, their domestically born offspring may be eligible for welfare benefits that their parents may abuse.
“The American welfare system is designed in large part to help low-income families with children, which describes a large share of immigrants,” CIS declared in the report.
According to The Epoch Times’ Naveen Athrappully, twelve states currently provide Medicaid to children from low-income families, irrespective of their immigration status. These kids can also participate in several government food programs.
According to the report, there are a number of programs specifically designed with minors in mind, including Medicaid for children (Children’s Health Insurance Program), Free or subsidized meals for students, the Women, Infants, and Children nutrition program, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
The US Census Bureau’s 2022 Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) data were used in the CIS report.
“The reality is that illegal immigrants are included in the SIPP, a large share of them are poor, and they or their U.S.-born children have welfare eligibility; and many take advantage of this eligibility,” CIS highlighted.

“A very large share of immigrants come to America, have children, struggle to provide for them, and so turn to taxpayers for support. This can be seen as especially problematic given that there is already a large number of Americans who are also struggling to provide for their children.”
Data from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) indicates that as of June 2023, there will be roughly 5.78 million children born in the United States to illegal alien parents.
FAIR estimates that illegal immigrants and their children born in the United States cost American taxpayers $150.6 billion annually, an increase of about $35 billion over the previous five years.
“This burden will only continue to grow as a result of the Biden administration’s open-borders policies,” FAIR noted.
It is imperative that we terminate birthright citizenship in order to achieve immigration systemic order. Whether they are here legally or not, the flood of mass migration is weakening the foundation of our country. The government must enact patriotic immigration reforms in order to protect our nation and guarantee a prosperous future for future generations.

Any U.S. Representative that does not put America first and foremost should be immediately removed according to the Oath of Office that they swore on the Bible, so help me God.
As far as birthright babies, the babies have the same Nationality of their parents – born here or not. Other countries are taking advantage of America and the Administration we have has been causing America harm by their treason.
Theodore Roosevelt’s ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.
‘In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.
But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…
There can be no divided allegiance here.
Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language..
And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.’
