By contrast, the fundraiser for her victim, Jeanie Beeman, hosted on GiveSendGo by this reporter, has raised an impressive $300,000 to support Beeman and her family.
Beeman also received recognition for her composure and courage, flying out to TPUSA’s AMFest, where she was brought onstage by Benny Johnson and Jack Posobiec—a moving moment for attendees.
As reported previously, Ponce filmed the incident herself, posting the video to TikTok. In it, she berated Beeman while she stocked shelves, calling her “f**king stupid” and accusing her of supporting a “racist.” Beeman stayed calm and collected throughout the ordeal.
The viral video sparked a huge backlash. More than 6,000 people called Enloe Health, demanding Ponce’s termination.
Even Ponce’s own mother, Debbie Silvey, publicly condemned her daughter’s behavior, calling it “inappropriate and horrific” and clarifying that the family does not support Ponce’s actions or beliefs.
Ponce later released her own apology, admitting she “lost control emotionally” and expressing regret for the harm caused.
It’s worth noting that Ponce seems to misunderstand the First Amendment, which protects against government censorship, not consequences imposed by private employers for off-duty conduct.
