The American Left never stops lecturing the country about “racism” and “hate.” They posture as the self-appointed moral referees of American life. But actress Sydney Sweeney just revealed how phony that narrative really is—without even trying.
A high-profile New Yorker writer, Doreen St. Felix, thought she could smear Sweeney with a cruel and racially charged hit piece. Instead, her attack backfired so badly that it sent her running for cover.
St. Felix attempted to disguise her personal insults as cultural commentary, going after Sweeney’s recent American Eagle campaign. She claimed it celebrated the actress’s “famously large breasts, genes, and whiteness” as some kind of standard of beauty.
She didn’t stop there. In the piece, St. Felix went so far as to call Sweeney an “Aryan princess” and even threw in vulgar sexual remarks tied to racial stereotypes. The comments were so outrageous that many wondered how this could possibly get published by one of America’s most prominent magazines.
