According to a recent analysis by Insider Monkey, the Democratic Party is in charge of the American cities with the worst murder rates.
Using information from police department records and the FBI’s Quarterly Uniform Crime Report, Insider Monkey has compiled a list of the top 30 US cities. Notably, Democratic leadership is in charge of the first 15 mentioned metro areas.

An research by the Daily Caller News Foundation indicates that crime increased in six important cities after the election of liberal prosecutors who were backed by organizations supported by billionaire megadonor George Soros.
An alarming rise in car thefts and homicides has coincided with the recent election of liberal prosecutors in Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, St. Louis, and New York. This trend coincides with financial support from George Soros, who, according to a recent report by the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA), has contributed up to 90% of the campaign funding for some prosecutors, and has funneled over $40 million into their campaigns over the past ten years through a network of “shell organizations, affiliates, and pass-through committees.”
“Policies of non-prosecution, which a lot of the prosecutors that he’s supported have enacted, certainly contribute to crime, especially to the extent that they are triggered in cases involving repeat violent offenders,” Rafael Mangual, the director of research for the Manhattan Institute’s Policing and Public Safety Initiative, told the DCNF.

Mangual argues that when communities refuse to prosecute “low-level” crimes, repeat offenders are eventually released and police are discouraged from even initiating these arrests.

According to the LEDF research, Soros-backed prosecutors are in charge of 20% of the country’s residents, including more than half of the most populous cities, and an astounding 40% of all murder cases.
