Sunny Hostin Shocks Audience: Biden Could Be in Big Trouble

The hosts of “The View” occasionally offer wise commentary, though they are inconsistent about it, just like a broken clock can occasionally show the right time twice a day.

The women occasionally come across a thoughtful and pertinent thread that is worth studying. In this instance, it might affect President Joe Biden’s prospects for reelection in 2024. Although uncommon, these instances are important and demand attention.

This extra benefit is an added bonus.

It must be admitted that “The View” frequently provides liberal complaints dressed up as criticism, albeit occasionally making good points. They do, however, finally address the pertinent problem.

The hosts concentrated on Vice President Kamala Harris and her connection to the likelihood of Biden’s reelection during their conversation.

The first reality is revealed by “The View”: Biden’s chances for 2024 are significantly impacted by Harris’ unworthy vice presidency.

The episode opened with co-host Whoopi Goldberg stating, “The Washington Post says the Biden team is trying to boost Vice President Harris’ image.” She was making reference to a Sunday Post article that detailed the “concerted effort” to enhance Harris’ reputation.

“But I’m trying to figure out why do they think it needs boosting,” Goldberg continued. “What is that?”

A distorted perspective appears to have been generated by the blue-tinted glasses. Harris is at best third among Democratic vice presidents since the 1990s. Her record isn’t as impressive as what Al Gore or even Biden have accomplished.

These three people have been the only Democratic vice presidents since the 1990s.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the guest with the conservative viewpoint, made an effort to explain it on the broadcast.

Griffin praised Harris throughout her address, calling him a “rock star,” but she also stated her worries about Harris’ tenure in government.

You sort of have two jobs after working for a vice president: do no harm and aim to maintain a higher approval rating than your principal. She hasn’t been able to do anything either. She hasn’t, in my opinion, made any significant policy strides.

“And she will, fairly or unfairly, be the most scrutinized vice president in history because she’s running with the oldest [incumbent president] in history.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin recently responded to a criticism with a succinct but wise statement: “Let’s not forget, she’s a black woman.”

Griffin objected, and Hostin reaffirmed his position that not all attacks of Harris are racially motivated.

We are in the United States of America, she said when asked why she thought the vice president was being insulted because of her skin tone.

Hostin boldly stated, “Numerous studies have shown that Black women are frequently labeled as less articulate and unattractive by this country,” despite some uneasy applause from the audience.

It was stated on a recent episode of “The View” that Biden’s support among black voters would suffer as a result of Kamala Harris’ defeat. Any Democratic contender would be doomed to failure if they lost support from this critical group.

“I understand why [Team Biden] are boosting her at this point,” Hostin said. “They want to boost her because no Democratic nominee can win the general election without the black vote. I mean, that is just a fact.”

Hostin claims that Harris’ ability to win over more black voters contributed significantly to Biden’s success in the 2020 race. Without her involvement, he might not have received the crucial support he needed to be successful.

“Black voters saved his campaign in 2020. They could also be why he loses it in 2024,” she said.

Without a question, Biden’s standing will suffer if Harris’s popularity declines. This is a gamble the current president simply cannot take given his already dismal approval ratings.

Although it is an option, replacing Harris with a new vice president might backfire for Biden and result in charges of racism and misogyny in the run-up to the election. Is the risk worthwhile?

The women on “The View” admitted that if Joe Biden loses the election, Kamala Harris’s performance will be evaluated in most assessments of his presidency.
