After the bruising outcome of the 2024 elections, Democrats are facing a political reality that many in Washington would rather not talk about openly. The party that campaigned heavily on warnings about the future of American democracy ended up losing control of the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives.
Now, new polling data suggests the damage to the party’s reputation with voters may be even deeper than the election results themselves.
A fresh survey from Fox News reveals that congressional Democrats are now sitting at just 29 percent approval among the American public. While that number alone is alarming for party leaders, the broader details inside the poll paint an even more troubling picture.
In fact, that 29 percent approval rating may be one of the more favorable numbers Democrats have seen recently.
