A disturbing lawsuit has rocked Seton Hall University’s baseball program, with a former student-athlete alleging he was subjected to violent and humiliating hazing — including forced sexual acts — while the coaching staff stood by and allowed it to continue.
The player, identified in legal documents only as “John Doe,” filed a federal suit claiming that the environment inside the Seton Hall locker room was anything but safe. The lawsuit describes a nightmare of “coerced sexual exposure, physical assault, sexualized rituals and retaliatory ostracization” that left the student severely traumatized, physically injured, and his future in shambles.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking at least $1 million in damages, citing the long-lasting impact on his emotional, academic, and professional life.
