Vice President J.D. Vance traveled to Minneapolis this week to pay respects at Annunciation Catholic School, the site of a brutal shooting that shook the community just days ago. Instead of quiet reflection, Vance was met with a mob of leftist agitators who turned the solemn moment into a circus of slogans, signs, and rainbow flags.

Protest at a Place of Mourning
As footage posted by Townhall columnist Dustin Grage shows, Vance and the Second Lady walked into the school while protesters screamed in the background. Some shouted “Protect our kids” and “do better,” while others waved placards designed to shame and mock. One read, “This is your job. Protect our kids.” Another demanded, “When you pray, move your feet,” a jab clearly aimed at Christians offering prayer for the grieving families.
Further back in the crowd, an LGBT pride flag was raised. The imagery was unmistakable — activists seizing on the tragedy to push the same ideology tied to the killer himself.
