On Thursday, Romi Gonen, who spent an unimaginable 471 days in captivity after being abducted during Hamas’ October 7, 2023 massacre, publicly shared the brutal sexual abuse she endured while held hostage by terrorists.
Speaking on Israel’s Channel 12 investigative program “Uvda,” Gonen described the relentless torture, repeated rapes, and psychological torment inflicted on her by her captors. Her testimony shatters any remaining illusions about the nature of Hamas and the atrocities committed against innocent civilians.
Gonen explained that throughout her captivity, she lived in constant terror that her life had been reduced to nothing more than permanent sexual slavery. The fear was not hypothetical. It was a daily reality.
