California Senator Adam Schiff is back in the spotlight with another dramatic meltdown, this time on CNN, where he attacked President Donald Trump over Ukraine, government spending cuts, and a so-called looming shutdown.
Schiff, who has been a relentless critic of Trump for years, accused the president of “betraying” Ukraine by failing to secure a peace deal with Russia—despite the fact that Trump has been in office for barely a month. The war in Ukraine, which started under Joe Biden’s presidency, was somehow framed by Schiff as Trump’s responsibility already.

“This is an effort to pressure Zelenskyy into giving up something for nothing. And I have to say this, on top of the resolution at the United Nations where the United States sided with Russia, betrayed Ukraine, is one of the most shameful incidents in modern history,” Schiff declared.
Schiff then claimed that Americans were “ashamed” of Trump over his Ukraine stance, despite overwhelming support for Trump’s America First policies.
