President Donald Trump may have found an unexpected partner in his effort to revive America’s struggling entertainment industry.
California Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff, one of Trump’s longtime political opponents, is now calling for Congress to support the president’s push for a federal incentive aimed at bringing movie and television production back to the United States.
The surprising agreement comes after years of bitter political battles between Trump and Schiff. Yet on the question of rebuilding America’s film industry, the California Democrat says he is firmly on the president’s side.
