Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders says she was effectively shown the door at a Little Rock restaurant after employees reportedly complained that her presence made them feel uneasy because of her political views.

According to Sanders, the incident happened while she was having lunch with two other mothers at The Croissanterie in Little Rock. The governor said the situation escalated when the restaurant owner approached a member of her State Police Executive Protection Detail and made it clear that staff wanted her gone.
“Last week I was having lunch with two other moms at a restaurant when the owner approached a member of the State Police Executive Protection Detail and said my presence made their employees feel threatened and told us to leave,” she wrote.
