As the war in Ukraine rages on, both sides continue to escalate the conflict in alarming ways, with each new development bringing us closer to a more devastating global crisis. On Thursday, a historic event unfolded when Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) at the city of Dnepropetrovsk, marking the first time an ICBM has ever been used in active warfare.
This missile strike comes just days after President Joe Biden authorized the use of long-range, U.S.-made missiles by Ukraine, which were fired into Russian territory earlier this week.
