He’s making it crystal clear: this bill is not what the critics claim — it’s not a bloated disaster, it’s a historic move toward fiscal responsibility.
In his latest post, Vought broke down the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score, revealing that — once adjusted for the CBO’s outdated currency baseline — the bill actually cuts the deficit by a whopping $1.4 trillion over ten years.
“It includes $1.7 trillion in mandatory savings, the most in history. If you care about deficits and debt, this bill dramatically improves the fiscal picture,” Vought wrote.
