Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis travels to Arizona’s southern border to launch his presidential campaign.

According to DeSantis, Florida’s Highway Patrol and National Guard Counterdrug Task Force have developed an extensive training program for police countrywide.
“And so, we’re going to be offering this, we’re going to be welcoming people from across the country to come to Florida and train with some of our folks and basically learn a model that we think has had tremendous success,” DeSantis explained.

Without any justifiable resistance, he said Florida should work with Texas and Arizona to secure the state and municipal borders.
Republican-led states like Florida and Texas are moving in the direction of border security in a way that the Biden administration has not.
DeSantis has sent personnel and equipment to Texas, greatly assisting the state’s effort to secure its borders.
His strict stance against illegal immigration in Florida is establishing the bar for the rest of the nation.
