“When that coward, that fcking piece of sht Donald Trump tries to take our voice and power away, what do we tell him?” Robert De Niro shouted.
The audience responded with cheers and applause.
De Niro then delivered the slogan that organizers had built the event around.
“Keep your f*cking hands off our vote!” he said.
The crowd erupted again, clearly energized by the actor’s remarks.
Rather than stopping there, De Niro continued by encouraging those attending to remain politically active and work toward Democratic victories in Congress.
“Now with your commitment and support… we’re gonna send him away!”
He then launched into a series of political chants, calling on the audience to support efforts to retake congressional power.
“Take back the House! Yes! Take back the Senate! Yes! Take back the power! Yes! Take back our country! Yes!” Robert De Niro shouted before walking away from the lectern.
The appearance is hardly the first time De Niro has used his celebrity platform to attack Trump.
Over the past several years, the actor has repeatedly inserted himself into the nation’s increasingly heated political debate. He has appeared at “No Kings” demonstrations and has used interviews with left-wing media outlets to express his opposition to Trump.

De Niro’s political activism has also produced tense confrontations with Trump supporters.
In 2024, the actor appeared at a press conference in Manhattan where he criticized Trump. The event turned confrontational as Trump supporters heckled him and called him a loser.
De Niro responded by firing back at the protesters.
“You are gangsters!” De Niro shouted at the Trump supporters as they called him a loser.
The exchange quickly became another viral moment in the ongoing political rivalry surrounding Trump, who has faced some of his fiercest opposition from prominent figures in Hollywood and the entertainment industry.
