
In a brazen act of lawlessness, dozens of juveniles targeted a 7-Eleven near Beverly Hills, California, on Friday night, raising concerns about the state’s lenient crime policies. The incident, which occurred at the 8500 block of W Olympic Blvd, saw a group of nearly 50 youths swarm the convenience store, leaving it ransacked and in disarray. The group fled with armfuls of goods before law enforcement arrived.
According to reports from KTLA, the group of juveniles, estimated to be between the ages of 12 and 15, arrived on bicycles and swiftly entered the 7-Eleven. Once inside, they began seizing various items, including junk food, cigarettes, drinks, and other merchandise. The coordinated effort allowed the youths to stuff their pockets with as many items as possible before quickly fleeing the scene.

By the time law enforcement officers responded to the call, the suspects had already made their escape. “LAPD officers received a call at roughly 7:25 p.m. revealing that about 50 juveniles biked to the 7-Eleven and seized several items from the store,” KTLA reported. Officers arrived too late to apprehend the majority of the suspects, though one individual was reportedly taken into custody later in the night.
