Troy-Jeffrey, a Miami-based artist, praised his father’s legacy, recalling Mercury’s “electrifying speed and dynamic play” as essential to the Dolphins’ historic undefeated season. Morris, who won two Super Bowls during his time with Miami, was also honored with three Pro Bowl selections throughout his impressive career.

Morris first made a name for himself at Texas A&M before being drafted by the Dolphins in the third round of the 1969 NFL draft.
