In a moment that perfectly captures the media’s ongoing struggle with truth and transparency, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. didn’t mince words when he confronted CNN host Kaitlan Collins during a tense interview on Thursday.
Kennedy, never one to shy away from speaking his mind, took direct aim at mainstream media for what he described as their role in promoting misleading narratives during the COVID-19 pandemic. And judging by Collins’ reaction—cutting the interview short—his words clearly hit a nerve.
“You know, one of the big mistakes that you and many of your media colleagues made during COVID is to try to convince the American people that they should trust the experts,” Kennedy said.
